A stunning new Kitchen Installation for La Retraite.
We were fortunate to be involved within the renovation of La Retraite, a house which originally dates from 1757 and has been in the same family for more than 100 years. Last renovated in 1961, the present owners decided it was time to rejuvenate the grade-3-listed farmhouse, giving it a new life while preserving their emotional connection with the property, so that’s where we came in.
‘At the beginning, we toyed with the idea of a traditional Shaker kitchen and replacing the old Aga with a new one but decided that there were certain rooms on which we wanted to put our own stamp so we settled on a modern functional kitchen, in a soft green to make reference to the buildings history.’ Mr & Mrs T.
